Daniel Seminara, born in 1989, started to play the guitar at the age of 6. He got his first lessons with M. Maurizio Cerri, at 15 he began his study at the Conservatorio Cantelli of Novara with Prof Mario Dell’Ara. Under Prof Maurizio Grandinetti Seminara brilliantly got his Diploma at the age of 21. He also studied composition with Prof Marco Lasagna.
After obtaining the Diploma in Discipline Musicali di Secondo Livello with maximum grade and honour, in the year 2013 Daniel Seminara started to study at the University of Music, Drama und Media Hannover with Prof. Frank Bungarten. He finally graduated with maximum grade in 2015.

Daniel Seminara attended diverse competitions and won prizes in the “Città di Voghera” in 2007 (2nd Prize) and Riviera della Versilia “D. Ridolfi” in 2013 (2nd Prize). Among the festivals that he attended: Saiten Sprung in Basel in 2013, Forum Neue Kammermusik in Hannover in 2014, Sommerkurse Montepulciano in 2014, improvisation workshop with John Russell in Hannover in 2015, Walden Deluxe in the Schreyahn Artists House in 2015, ancient music Winter Akademie in Bremen in 2016, Lute Interpretation with Eduardo Egüez in Turin in 2016.
Moreover, Daniel Seminara took masterclass with some of the most important guitarists: Marcin Dylla, Stefano Grondona, Pablo Marquez, Lorenzo Micheli, Clausio MarcotulliHe seeks constant development and researches different aspects of music. He is active as lutenist and basso continuo player and has performed with different ensembles (a.o. in the Stechinelli Day in Wieckenberg and in the Resurrection of Jesus Christ from Heinrich Schütz).
Daniel Seminara collaborated with composers and artists, among others: Jose Maria Sanchez-Verdù, Manos Tsangaris, Snezana Nesic. Experimenting the language of the guitar led Seminara to work in the improvised and performative music. He played in different formation and had sessions with various musicians and played for some time in the Wechselnde Besetzung.
Chamber music represents a big share of his repertoire. He performs regularly with flute and played the most repertoire with violin, voice and cello. He is also part of Asambura, ensemble composed by people from all over the world dedicated to the performance of new music coming from different cultures, with whom in the year 2016 premiered MessiaSASAmbura, from the German composer Maximilian Guth.
Parallel to his music studies Daniel Seminara obtained a bachelor degree in Management for Arts, Culture and Communication at the University Bocconi Milan.
